The Soul Box Project collects and exhibits thousands of hand-folded origami boxes to raise awareness of the U.S. gunfire epidemic. Each Soul Box holds space for one life lost or injured by gun violence, defense, accident or suicide. The Soul Box Project’s “Art Revealing the Gunfire Epidemic” exhibit will come to St. Louis this fall.
The AHV Initiative seeks to produce 6,000 custom Soul Boxes made by local St. Louis volunteers. We currently have 1,834. Make a box by following along with these instructions.
Once you have completed your boxes, email ahv@stlouisartschamberofcommerce.org to arrange to drop off the boxes to be included in the exhibit.
WIll you help to end violence by increasing awareness?
